Description
The HASCO HWLSA10-0330-ER is a W Band, Level Set Waveguide Attenuator and covers a frequency range of 75 to 110 GHz. This attenuator is equipped with a micrometer dial which makes the dB value mechanically adjustable. This attenuator is ideal for a waveguide system where broadband level setting is required. It is a passive, reciprocal network where either side can serve as input.
Waveguide attenuators lower the amplitude of a signal (attenuate) a known amount and can be used in a wide variety of applications. Waveguide Attenuators are used when a signal needs to be reduced to protect measurement equipment or other circuitry, to extend the range of power meters and amplifiers, and to impedance match circuits by reducing the VSWR seen by adjacent components. Waveguide attenuators can prevent signal overload in amplifiers, receivers and detectors, adjusting the signal level to a range that is optimal. HASCO Cage Code: 0T8L4
